Christmas Trip

I took Jake to Nana and Papa's house late Christmas night until New Year's Eve for a Christmas visit with most of my side of the family. Here are some pictures from our visit (Jake had so much fun!) -

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Jake with either one of his Great Grandmothers- but it was so good to spend time with you both! We had such a great trip. Jake hadn't seen Nana and Papa in 6 months, so it was nice to have the week long visit! Now we'll look forward to Nana and Papa's visit to California in January :)

Merry Christmas!

Jake loved that Santa came by our house for Christmas! He had such a great time opening presents this year. I thought he was still going to be too young to really enjoy it, but boy was I wrong! He absolutely loved everything about it and was really into opening all his gifts (he even tried on the clothes he got!). Here are some pictures of Jake enjoying Christmas:

Christmas Eve

Lucky for Jake, we decided to let him open a couple of presents on Christmas Eve!




Here is a picture of the "reindeer" that walked around outside the house before the sun went down on Christmas Eve. It was so neat- Jake kept saying, "reindeer, reindeer"!

Christmas Festival

Here are some pictures from the Christmas Festival we went to this past weekend while Pops was here. Jason didn't get to go with us because he was sick with a stomach bug (which unfortunately he still had on his birthday the next day-bummer!) But thankfully, he is feeling much better now! Pops had a great time at this festival- he had fun taking pictures with Jake, talking to the art vendors, watching all the people in costumes, and listening to the music:










As you can see, the historic district in this town is really neat. We love walking around all the specialty shops downtown. It's especially neat when the town puts on events like this Christmas Festival. It was great to see Pops and show him around this neat little place we now call "home". We can't wait for the rest of you to come for a visit as well!!
