Wow, has it really already been one month since Lucy was born?! It seems like we were just in the hospital and now it has already been a week since her first Thanksgiving! Here are Lucy's pictures at one month old:
Lucy has been growing so fast! She is nursing and sleeping really well, already giving me a couple 5 hour stretches!! We are starting to see some voluntary smiles from her, which we have loved so much of course :) Lucy is generally very happy during the day, especially when she is picked up and walked around. She gets fussier at night, but seems to calm down the most when she is held. Lucy loves being held (I don't blame her)! She does great in the sling, which has made it easier to get out and about. A vacuum extraction was used to pull Lucy out during the delivery, which caused some bruising on her head and this lead to her getting jaundice. The bump on her head has really gone down a lot as well as the risk level for jaundice!
This past month has actually been pretty easy and of course very enjoyable. Lucy has been the most amazing addition to our family and words can not express how much we love her!

We love you so much Lucy and can't wait to see what the next month has in store for us!
