Out for a walk

Here are some pictures I took of Jake when we went out for a walk this past weekend:



Jake seems like such a big boy now. He turned 16 months old today. Wow- the time has gone by so fast! This past month Jake has been a busy boy- he has started figuring out how to run and he is starting to say some words a little more clearly such as (car, cheese, Catfish, and Daddy). As mentioned previously, he has really been into climbing up, down, into, and over things. He loves any toy he has that he can pull or push around, such as his golf bag and his wagon. AND- he has 8 teeth coming in all at once (poor little guy)! But I can't forget to mention the sweetest thing of all......he has also started to give us kisses!!





Another great month- we love you Big Boy!!

Little Helper

Isn't Jake such a good little helper?! Here he is helping Jason clean stuff up for the sale we had this weekend down at the shop:



These junk sales are like Heaven to Jake- he gets to run around and look in all the boxes for treasures!

Earth Day

Jake had fun playing in the dirt on Earth Day- here he is helping us get some tomato seedlings ready to plant in the garden!

Now that Jake has started climbing up, over, and into things- I find him in the funniest places:

And even with all that working, he still finds time to play:



Jake has really been in to climbing stairs and stepping over things blocking his way. He has even started holding on to the rails and walking up the front steps!

Happy Easter

Jake turned 15 months old on Easter Sunday. We have been having such nice weather, so the three of us went down to the park and had fun on the slides.




Later that day, Jake discovered how much fun the water hose can be! I couldn't resist posting all of these pictures because it was just so funny and so cute:










This past month Jake has really refined the skills he was learning last month. He is pretty much doing the same things- just better, faster, and stronger! He has become quite the little boy!!

Zoo Trip

My sister Jennifer and her family came for a visit yesterday and we all went to the Zoo. I think everyone in NC had the same idea because it was absolutely crowded! Jake had fun getting to see his cousins, although he slept most of the time inside the Zoo. But it was still so good to see everyone!
