We have really been enjoying being back in NC. We are settling into our new routine and everything has been going great. We are staying at the house Jason remodeled when we first moved here, which is right down the street from Pops! I have been busy trying to get everything in its place and will soon start to put the nursery room together for the baby :)

Jake has been attending the Mother's Day Out program at First Presbyterian, which has been fantastic! He will start in the 2 yr. old preschool class in the fall. It has been a little hard for him when I drop him off, but by the time I go to pick him up he is so sad he has to leave! The 3 yr. old preschool teacher helps out with the MDO program in the summer and she couldn't believe that Jake wasn't 3 yet. She said he speaks clearer than alot of the 3 yr. olds in her class! Everyone is always remarking on his big vocabulary and how well he talks. So, with how smart he is coupled with how big he is- I can see why people are always thinking that he is older than he is!

Speaking of age, Jake is going to turn 2 1/2 on the 4th of July. And, he is really growing up! Above is a picture of him in his new big boy race car bed, which he started sleeping in when we moved back to NC. He loves this bed! Another big event for Jake, is that he is now completely potty-trained. And, he absolutely loves wearing his big boy undies! It is amazing how much he has grown up just in the past 2 months that we have been back. He is such a big boy now and we are so proud of him!
