Jake turned 22 months old this past week on my 33rd birthday! From the time we were packing up to move out here until now, Jake's language development has absolutely taken off. He is very talkative and knows tons of words now. He is even combining words into phrases (mama help me, dada play, back deck..bicycle).Jake continues to be very social and says "hi" to practically everyone we walk past. It is hilarious when we walk past a man and he says, "hi guy". It's funny because they're not expecting it and it makes them smile every time! Jake is getting ready to start preschool here next week, so we'll let y'all know how it goes! Given how much he loved it in NC and how social he is, I am sure he will make out just fine :)
