Pumpkins

We had a short (but sweet) visit with Nanny over the weekend in Kentucky. Jake had tons of fun getting to feed the animals in the barn lot and picking eggs right out of the nest in the chicken coop. But his favorite thing of all was getting to ride in the golf cart to help his Aunt Georgia and Uncle Ernest pick pumpkins from the garden! Here are some pictures of Jake helping to unload the pumpkins back at their house:

After we were finished, Jake found out that we were going to get to take a couple of pumpkins home with us. Above is a picture of Jake taking one over to our car- look at him carrying it all by himself! Once we were back at Nanny's house, Jake got to help Daddy turn one of our pumpkins into a jack-o'-lantern:

Once the sun started to go down, Jason showed Jake how to make the jack-o'-lantern glow:

We had a great time picking and carving the pumpkins during our visit in Kentucky. It really made us feel like Fall is here and that Halloween is right around the corner. Which means that it is not too much longer before the baby is here too! Here I am at about 34 weeks pregnant in the picture I am in below with Jake and Nanny. And the last two pictures are ones that our little photographer Jake took:

Jake went for his 2 yr old well child check-up a couple of days before we left for Kentucky. Just wanted to include his stats-

Weight: 34 lbs (95%)
Height: 38.75 in (95%)
BMI: (50%)

Jake is still growing like a weed! He continues to be in the 95th percentile for height and weight. And the doctor said his BMI is perfect!
