Pops

Here are some cute pictures of the kids with Pops today.  I haven't taken many pictures with Pops since we got back from California! 

So, I was glad to get these:

9 months old

Look at me everybody, I am 9 months old now.  I have been around for as long as I was in mommy's belly!  And I have kept her really busy these past 9 months, especially this last month :)

Check out some of the things I have been doing that have kept my mommy running around all day:

That's right, I figured out how to crawl super fast and pull up on the furniture!  Luckily, just today, I figured out how to sit back down once I have pulled myself up!!  This should make things much easier for mommy in the month to come!!!  I learned some other fun things this past month too, like how to clap and how to wave "hi".  These things put a big smile on my mommy and daddy's face :)  Oh yeah, and I can't forget, I also figured out how to climb up stairs!  I know I have kept them super busy this past month, but I am so irresistibly cute that they don't seem to mind:

On the trail

Here we are at the Birkhead Mountains Wilderness in the Uwharrie National Forrest, which is so close to our house.  This makes it nice b/c it is quick and easy to get to a great day hike!  Here are some pictures of us enjoying it yesterday morning:

Lucy had a great time on this hike as well.  It was so nice that we were able to push the mountain buggy stroller from Aunt Jennifer on this trail.

Red Car

 Lucy really loves for us to push her around in this red car that Jake got this past Christmas.  Jake "drives" it around by pushing it with his feet, but there is also a floor board attachment for younger toddlers (so, it has been perfect for Lucy as well).  Here are some cute pics I took of them in the car the other day:

 I am not really sure what they were eating before these pictures, but it must have been good b/c it seems to be on both of their shirts!  Check out Jake in the pictures below, the faces he was making just kept getting funnier and funnier.  I still laugh every time I scroll through these:

 What a funny little kiddo!  And, thanks big brother Jake for letting Lucy share this cool red car with you!!

At the zoo

Here are some pictures of us enjoying the zoo yesterday.  Jake and Lucy had fun playing in these ostrich eggs:

Fun, but a little hot inside the figures!  Did you notice the elephant off in the distance?

Then we went to the Aviary.  Jake loves to find as many different birds as he can.  Then he points out which ones we found on the chart when we're leaving!  Here he is with Jason cooling off over one of the big fans:

Another great trip to the zoo!!

Fun with Zoe

Here are some pictures of Jake and Lucy having fun when Zoe came over to play the other day.  Zoe is our friend's daughter and the three of them have a ball together:

And look at Lucy pulling herself up already!  She certainly is not a slowpoke when it comes to figuring things out!!

Too much fun!  And needless to say, everyone was very tired that night!!
