Above is one excited little kiddo on his way to the parade (Friday night) that starts off the Fall Festival, where we had fun all weekend long! Below is one silly picture I took while we were at the parade:
And here we are on Saturday. First stop, bounce town...
Some pics of us with Lucy while Jake was busy bouncing:
There was a great turn out this year as usual. It is always so much fun with all the art vendors and fun stuff for the kids to do. Saturday was especially great b/c the weather was so nice:
Here we are during our ice cream break:
Love this picture (twins):
I took the kids back on Sunday for a quick bounce session for Jake. The weather was much, much colder- so we didn't stay for long (but of course, we still had so much fun):
Another great year at the Fall Festival. I was very pregnant with Lucy at the last one, so it was neat to see her (almost walking) and having so much fun at this one! I can't believe it has almost been one year :) And, Jake had a blast again this year!! It will be neat to watch both of them bouncing at the next one!!!

11 Months Old
Can you believe we only have one more month until this little girl is 1 year old ?! Busy, busy, busy- that is all I can say. That is the only way the time has gone by this fast! Life changes a little when you have a full of energy little kiddo and a very, very, very active little baby. Lucy can really get around (and I mean quick). Look at her pulling up on my leg and standing up in the door way:
And she has the best big brother. He loves that she has been able to do more and more with him lately! The two of them are so cute together:
This past month Lucy took a big interest in trying to figure out how to walk. She can stand on her own, balanced without support. And, she has even taken a couple of steps by herself! She has gotten really good at walking around holding onto one of our hands and sometimes she just needs one finger. So it shouldn't be too much longer before this little gal is walking around on her own.
It's been another great month! Oh yeah, and...we've had one more tooth come down (on top this time)!!

Quick Trip
We just got back from a weekend trip to see Nanny in Kentucky. We wish it was longer, but we'll look forward to Thanksgiving! I kept leaving my camera at the house, so these are pretty much the only pictures I took:
It was a great trip as usual, filled with fun adventures to the farm and visits with aunts, uncles, and cousins! Too bad I wasn't able to capture Jason and Jake's excursion into the "oopy, goopy, poopy" barn lot with their knee high boots on. Jake thought it was absolutely a blast and he loved getting to feed the mule! Lucy really noticed the animals this time and would giggle when they came closer. She also really enjoyed rolling around in the grass. She would throw herself back in the grass, laugh, get back up and do it all over again! So much fun :)

First Day
Jake started his second year of preschool this past week! Here we are about to leave for his first day:
And here are some in his classroom once I came to pick him up. The teachers bring them out to the car (that is why there are no other kiddos in the pictures). I forgot to bring the camera when I dropped him off, so we made sure to go back in and get a couple before we left:
It was a great first day! I think he felt a little unsure to begin with, but that was quickly replaced with excitement when he got to spend time with some of his buddies from last year! It also helped that he already knew his teacher (she helped with Mother's Day Out over the summer), who is wonderful and will definitely make this school year a special one for him!! Here we are later, joining in the excitement of Jake's first day:
Jake also had his first soccer game yesterday. His first practices both got rained out. So the team hadn't even gotten a chance to play with each other yet, but still managed to win the game! I think Jake is really going to enjoy soccer this time around. He definitely liked it before, but you can already tell how much more he is engaged this season. Here are some pictures from the game:
It's amazing how much Jake grew up over just one summer. He really seemed to move out of the toddler phase and into the little kid stage! He has become so aware of everything around him. He is so inquisitive, super intelligent, funny as ever, very artistic, and the cutest and sweetest boy you'll ever meet! We love you big boy (so, so much)!!
Jake had his 3 yr old check up in August. Here are the stats from his visit:
Weight: 37 lbs (70%)
Height: 41.5 in (92%)
BMI: (40%)

10 Months Old
Our little baby is starting to not look so much like our little baby anymore! Lucy turned 10 months old while we were visiting with family at Aunt Jennifer's over Labor Day weekend. I guess I should start saying our little girl...
I can't believe there are only two more months until Lucy turns 1 year old. It goes by so fast, doesn't it?! Lucy has had another big month. Some of the things she figured out this past month have been: cruising around the furniture, standing up/looking out the front door, letting go of one piece of furniture and transferring to another, and standing in place balanced without holding on to anything. She will pretty much pull up on or crawl into anything now, including the back of my leg. Oh yeah, and even, well...the dishwasher!
Lucy was granted the nickname, Busy, this past month. I am sure you can figure out why after reviewing the list of things she figures out from month to month. Busy Bradford...thanks for keeping us on our toes!
